After beginning her career as a California Credentialed School Nurse, Dr. Annette Dunn discovered something powerful: preteens and teens weren’t avoiding tough conversations, they were wanting to have them with their parents. The true barrier wasn’t willingness, but a communication gap. Her sessions provide an environment where families learn, ask questions, and build trust together. Her classes are evidence-based and age-appropriate, designed to foster openness and trust within families. Her intention is that every parent has the tools and knowledge to talk to their kids about any subject, and for every child to feel safe to talk to their parents about anything.

The definition of family values is discussed and how they play a role in puberty. This role is reflected in goal setting and healthy decision making. The goal is coming out of puberty as a successful adult. Since each family is different, there is one-on-one parent/child discussion in understanding their individual family values.
Do you show how to use certain birth control methods?
No, birth control methods are only shown by what they look like and described as if they are a barrier, behavioral, or hormonal method. Nurse Netty does not show how to use birth control methods.

Hosting a session is simple and fully guided.
